The second of three scheduled UGB deliberations by the Eugene Planning Commission will be held on April 17th (Monday). Monday’s deliberations will focus on the proposed Clear Lake Overlay Zone, which seeks to meet our community vision of ample economic opportunities for all community members while addressing concerns related to environmental justice and neighborhood livability.

NEIGHBORHOOD REFINEMENT PLAN UPDATE

James Givens will present an overview on the next steps we might pursue for updating our Neighborhood Refinement Plan. It will focus on suggestions for participation and content critical to the next step in
revising the section on Public Transportation and its potential impacts and opportunities for the JWN.

EUGENE HEARING AND SPEECH BUILDING

Val Close of ECCares will discuss their recent purchase of the Eugene Hearing and Speech building at 12th and Taylor.  Come learn about the ECCares programs, the population they serve, and how their presence might impact the neighborhood. Q&A time to follow presentation.
