This is a very important meeting! We're going to have a panel that will finally look at the REAL
effects the "Envision Eugene" process may have on our neighborhood.
The panel will include:

The panel members have been asked to provide, practical, real-world information, including:
This is the first time actual numbers related to future infill and density will be available. Plus,
with Council scheduled to take action in February it's critical to learn what's at stake and how
to affect the upcoming decisions.

- Envision Eugene Panel -- Impacts on JWN
This is a very important meeting! We're going to have a panel that will finally look at the REAL
effects the "Envision Eugene" process may have on our neighborhood.
The panel will include:
- Shawn Boles, the co-chair of the Envision Eugene Technical Resource Group. The
TRG is doing the major technical and policy work on Envision Eugene - Lisa Gardner, the Eugene Planning Director.
- Jason Dedrick, Planning Division staff member working on Envision Eugene.
- Paul Conte, JWN Chair and someone who is very knowledgeable about Envision
Eugene and its potential impacts.
Panel members will answer questions from the audience.
The panel members have been asked to provide, practical, real-world information, including:
- Tell me how to determine what concrete effects Council's formal actions to adopt
"Envision Eugene" may have on land use regulations and future development in the
JWN. - Tell me how to determine whether a lot is included in the lots that may provide future
residential or commercial capacity, and how that lot's potential capacity is taken into
account. - Tell me how to develop an adequate understanding of the rules and calculations used
to calculate residential and commercial capacity for areas within the JWN. - Tell me how I can "ground truth" (i.e., validate) the facts that were used to calculate
residential and commercial capacity for areas within the JWN. - Tell me what the key events and dates are leading up to Council action in February.
Include deadlines by when I must get comments to staff or City officials to receive
adequate consideration
