2026 Jefferson Westside Neighbors Executive Board Elections
The 2026/27 Term JWN Executive Board Election will be held at the April 14 General Meeting, 6pm, Lane County History Museum, 740 W. 13th Ave.
Who Can Vote
  • Anyone who lives (including renters), owns property, owns or manages a business, or is the director of a nonprofit in the JWN may vote. Each individual (16 years or older) who meets these qualifications can vote regardless of how many people reside at a given address.
How Can I Vote?
There are two options for voting:
  • You may attend the April 14 General Meeting (no later than 6pm) to pick up and submit a ballot. You must sign in and provide a valid JWN address.
  • You may email us and request an Absentee Ballot.
    • Ballots are assigned via an ID number and each individual must request their own ballot. You will receive your ballot via email.
    • DO NOT DUPLICATE BALLOTS. Ballots with duplicate ID numbers will not be counted. Ballots must match records.
    • Ballots must be printed out and returned prior to 6pm on April 14.
    • You may submit your ballot two ways:
      • You may drop your ballot off in a sealed envelope in the mail slot at 971 W. Broadway NO LATER than 5pm April 14.
      • You or a third party may drop your ballot off in a sealed envelope at the April 14 General Meeting. Ballots must be submitted prior to the start of voting.
Ballot Requirements
To be counted, ballots must:
    • Be submitted by the start of vote counting.
    • Be completely filled out – incomplete ballots will not be counted.
      • If you do not wish to vote for any listed candidate, simply write NONE.
    • Spoiled ballots (commentary, write-in candidates, defaced) will not be counted.

The Voter’s Guide contains all relevant information on the election process, voting rules, timelines, and candidate statements. Elections are for the 2026/27 Term (April to April)
All candidates must be verified as eligible by the Nominating Committee and submit their information by the deadline to be included in the Voter’s Guide. All candidates must complete their candidate questionnaire and be included in the Voter’s Guide to stand for election. Write-in candidates are not allowed.

Elections are held according to the Jefferson Westside Neighbors Bylaws as approved by the membership.
