Jefferson Westside Neighbors Monthly Meeting is Relocating the McNail-Riley House, 601 W. 13th Ave at the corner of  Jefferson and W. 13th effective September 8, 2026. Times will remain 6-8pm.

The Lane County History Museum decided to no longer host after-hours meetings and events not directly related to the Museum’s core functions. We thank them for hosting use the past year. The JWN used to meeting in McNail-Riley House before relocating to First United Methodist Church for almost 20 years.

Please note onsite parking is limited, but neighbors can park in the Lane Events Center parking lot across the street or on W. 12th. It is important that neighbors only park on site in spots reserved for the McNail-Riley House.

Historic Jefferson Westside Project Wins Neighborhoods USA Award

Jefferson Westside Neighbors is proud to announce that we won the Best Neighborhood Program Award at the 2026 national Neighborhoods USA conference for our Historic Jefferson Westside Project.

The Best Neighborhood Program (BNP) award recognizes the outstanding work of governmental entities, businesses or corporations in the United States who work to improve the quality of life in their communities and neighborhoods.

The JWN Executive Board and JWN Historic District Task Force thank the Office of Equity and Community Engagement for a Neighborhood Matching Grant that helped fund our work and all our volunteers who contributed so much for our project’s success.

Despite reductions in funding and support, Eugene neighborhood associations and their all-volunteer boards, committees, and members continue to do exceptional nationally-recognized work to improve our communities. We appreciate your support for OECE programs and the recognition of their importance to Eugene.
